Description of Licensing Actions or Disciplinary Sanction:
Agreed to pay a $5,000.00 civil penalty and the revocation of his State-Certified Residential Appraiser license for a five year period in a February 27, 2008 Order. Mr. Gifford admits to violating USPAP Standards, Appraiser Rules and Statutes and for inflating the values of the properties that he was engaged to appraise, and for the use of superior comparables in superior neighborhoods in obtaining the value on appraisals.
